R v KM & Others [2025] Crown Court at Woolwich

Grace Cowell acted as junior counsel for a defendant charged with a conspiracy to rob over £1 million worth of watches. Grace was led by Dan Jones of Libertas Chambers.

The case was factually complex and garnered significant national media attention due to the tragic circumstances following the complainant’s suicide and the suggestion by some defendants that this matter was an ‘inside job’.

Following a four-week trial at the Crown Court at Woolwich the client was convicted alongside one other defendant. Sentence will take place in the New Year.

Grace was instructed by Janice Young of Youngs Solicitors
