Priya Solanki is running an immigration law update webinar

Our member, Priya Solanki, will be working through the most recent changes and announcements in Immigration Law in this week’s live session with For Media Group.

Priya will also provide an important update on two recent Article 8 ECHR authorities, which are likely to impact advice and arguments in many cases. And will address the following:

– Statement of Changes to the Immigration Rules HC 1491 9 Dec 2025
– The Home Office Policy Paper on Restoring Order and Control 21 November 2025
– IA v SSHD [2025] EWCA Civ 1516 – which gives important guidance on the test for establishing family life between adults, the jurisdictional scope of Art 8 ECHR in entry clearance cases, and the threshold to be met for entry clearance to be granted outside the Immigration Rules.
– Khera v SSHD [2025] EWCA Civ 1571 – in which the Court analysed and gave guidance on the tests in Appendix FM GEN 3.1-3.2.

This session aims to prepare practitioners for the year ahead. Find out more and secure your place here.
