​Joseph Maggs’s new article on procedural fairness in the context of sponsor licence revocations has been published on Free Movement.

The article considers R (Moon Fish Ltd) v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2026] EWHC 2289 (Admin), in which the High Court ruled that reliance on a mandatory ground for revoking a sponsor licence does not displace the Home Secretary’s common law duty of procedural fairness, even where no dishonesty or reprehensible conduct is alleged.
