Katherine Soroya Joins One Pump Court Chambers

One Pump Court Chambers is pleased to welcome Katherine Soroya to chambers.

Katherine practises in immigration, public and family law, with particular expertise in refugee law, asylum, human rights and matters involving vulnerable clients. She is recognised for her compassionate and dedicated approach to advocacy, regularly representing clients in complex and sensitive cases involving domestic abuse, trafficking and gender-based violence.

Alongside her practice, Katherine is a published legal writer and contributor to Free Movement and LexisNexis, where she provides commentary and practical guidance on immigration and tribunal procedure. She has also worked extensively within the charity and legal aid sectors, supporting asylum seekers and migrant communities through legal clinics and specialist representation.

On joining chambers, Katherine said:
