One Pump Court congratulates Michele O’Leary on her retirement

After a distinguished 41-year career at the bar, practising in all areas of family law, Michele is retiring.

She was appointed a DDJ of the Principal registry of the family Division in November 2003 and continued to sit as a DDJ in all three areas of family law.

Michele was made a Master of the Bench of Lincoln’s Inn in 2007 and has been involved in advocacy training in her Inn and for the Bar for the last thirty years, teaching in UK and internationally as well as tutoring on the Keble College Oxford Advanced Advocacy course arranged by the South Eastern Circuit.

Michele will be missed by the clerks, members of chambers and her clients. We wish her all the best for a long and happy retirement!
