I represented a Grandmother of 2 children, aged 5 and 3, in a fact-finding hearing where my client faced 18 allegations set out over 35 pages of a schedule. The allegations concerned, amongst other things, multiple injuries, lack of supervision and missed medical appointments. After much negotiation, a compromise was reached and concessions were accepted by all, which reduced the hearing to 5 days and avoided the risk of other findings being made.
