Stephen Knight on the Trafficking Defence in the Journal of Criminal Law

Stephen Knight has published an article in the Journal of Criminal Law on how victims of trafficking can access special defences in criminal law. The article is aimed at practitioners who work with victims of trafficking. It explains the current state of the law and the origin of the defence in international treaties. It goes on to argue for a way to expand the law to improve protection available to victims of trafficking and prevent their re-traumatisation through the criminal justice system.
