R v Kyle Mehmet & Others [2025] Crown Court at Woolwich

Grace Cowell was junior counsel for a defendant charged with a conspiracy to rob of over £1 million worth of watches. The case was factually complex and garnered significant national media attention due to the tragic circumstances following the complainant’s suicide and the suggestion by some defendants that this matter was an ‘inside job’. Grace’s client was convicted following a four-week trial at the Crown Court in Woolwich. Sentence is listed in the New Year.

Grace was instructed by Janice Young of Youngs Solicitors.
