One Pump Court has specialist expertise in representing individuals charged with crimes arising out of protests, and members have represented protestors and activists involved in most major protests over recent years, including on the climate crisis, pro-Palestine protests, the arms trade, animal rights, and deportations. 

Members of One Pump Court’s Crime Team regularly act in high-profile and highly publicised protest trials, as well as in landmark cases in the appeals courts.

Our specialist protest team is highly adept at advancing complex legal arguments in an area of law that is constantly evolving and have delivered training on various topics within this area. 

Members of One Pump Court are available for instruction in protest matters charged under terrorism legislation and matters with a terrorism link. They also accept instructions in parallel protest-related civil proceedings and actions against the police.
