Sponsor Licences and Skilled Workers

The Skilled Worker visa route allows UK employers to recruit talent from overseas. To do so, employers must hold a valid Sponsor Licence issued by the Home Office. Sponsor Licence holders are expected to comply with strict rules and regulations, and any breach may result in the suspension or revocation of the licence.

At One Pump Court, our immigration team has extensive experience in Sponsor Licence applications, compliance, and management. We understand that the loss of a Sponsor Licence can be devastating for businesses that depend on skilled international workers.

Our team works closely with solicitors specialising in Business Immigration. Several members are authorised for direct access and can assist employers in obtaining Sponsor Licences and provide strategic advice on compliance, including preparing for audits.

We frequently represent clients in challenging Sponsor Licence suspensions and revocations, including through judicial review proceedings. Our approach is rooted in providing clear, practical, and commercially-focused advice.

We are able to assist employers and individuals with all aspects of Appendix Skilled Worker, including challenging refusals.
