We would like to extend a warm welcome to Zeenat Islam who who has joined chambers.

Zeenat has joined the civil and public law team at One Pump Court, after a number of years as an established criminal defence practitioner at 25 Bedford Row. She has specialist public inquiry experience, as Junior Counsel to the Grenfell Tower Inquiry since 2017.

She is developing her human rights and public law practice with interests in state accountability, national security, criminal justice and equality and discrimination. Zeenat is direct access qualified and available for advice, representation and consultancy work.

She is particularly keen to develop relationships with grassroots and community organisations, NGOs and those working in policy and academia.
