The LA alleged the child was at risk of harm, due to domestic abuse and neglect, and sought Care and Placement Orders. The Guardian supported the LA but sought different contact arrangements pre-matching.

• I successfully argued for an amended Care Plan per the Guardian’s contact proposals
• HHJ Hughes found the parents were in contact with each other, the mother was attracted to violent men and could not prioritise her child’s needs, putting the child at risk of significant harm. She made Care and Placement Orders.
