One Pump Court is delighted to report that Stephen Knight won today’s Court of Appeal hearing against Samim Bigzag’s removal to Afghanistan. Mr Bigzad will be coming back to the UK tomorrow.

Permission to appeal was granted to the SSHD, but a stay on the three orders of the High Court was refused.  The appeal is now, essentially, academic.

Enormous congratulations to Stephen Knight, who has fought this with such passion and dedication. We’re looking forward to Mr Bigzad’s return to the UK.
