Parosha Chandran delivers keynote at UK Association of Women Judges’ conference

One Pump Court’s Parosha Chandran was honoured to be invited to deliver the keynote talk at the UK Association of Women Judges’ (UKAWJ) annual conference, held this year in Birmingham on Friday 8 November.

Speaking to a delegation of 90 judges at the conference, Parosha spoke on the topic of ‘Current Issues in Modern Slavery Law’ and gave her insights and experiences of bringing landmark cases before the judiciary in England and Wales and current challenges for the judiciary in hearing trafficking and modern slavery cases.
