Eleanor Sanders successfully represented the Appellant in her asylum appeal to the Upper Tribunal and subsequently in the remitted First-Tier Tribunal appeal.
The Appellant is a vulnerable victim of trafficking from Albania and has two young children. Eleanor began acting in her asylum case after it had been refused in the First-Tier Tribunal. She identified various meritorious grounds of legal challenge including that the First-Tier Tribunal Judge had acted unfairly in finding that the Appellant had withheld medical evidence. The appeal succeeded in the Upper Tribunal and the case then finally succeeded in a fresh hearing in the First-Tier Tribunal.
