Kitan Ososamiās client of good character was charged with assaulting an emergency worker by beating. It was alleged that she threw a cigarette at a police officer during a solidarity march for Gaza.
Despite police witnesses saying they saw the cigarette hit with the complainant, the body-worn footage did not corroborate this.
Following Kitanās submission of a written application to dismiss, the Crown offered no evidence.
Instructed by Zachary Whyte and Ruby Breward of Sperrin Law.
