Acquittal secured by Paramjit Ahluwalia in long and complex multi-handed murder trial at Old Bailey

Paramjit Ahluwalia in team as junior defence counsel, led by Lewis Power KC and instructed by Helena Amartey of Taylor Rose MW Solicitors secure an acquittal at the Old Bailey on all counts of murder, possession of shotgun and ammunition with intent to endanger life.

The trial was a long complex multi- handed murder taking place over 11 weeks duration. It concerned the fatal shooting of a young person in South London in 2023.

Complex and intensive work was undertaken by the team in relation to phone download evidence, CCTV investigations, cell site and GPS data – leading to the acquittal of Manuel Paulo.
