Meghan Curran and Kitan Ososami represent clients in protest trial with jury returning acquittals on some charges and failing to reach verdicts on others

Kitan Ososami and Meghan Curran’s clients faced trial, alongside five others, for their involvement in protests in September 2022.
Following a nearly three-week trial at Worcester Crown Court, Kitan’s client was acquitted of assault by beating and conspiracy to commit criminal damage. The jury could not reach a verdict concerning a charge of causing a public nuisance. He was convicted of criminal damage.
The jury could not reach a verdict concerning charges against Meghan’s client for causing a public nuisance and conspiracy to commit criminal damage.
