James joined 1 Pump Court in November 2015 from the Chambers of Lord Gifford QC, where he had clerked for 10 years in various areas of law including Crime, Immigration, Housing and Family. Prior to that, James had been Junior clerk to the Crime team at Garden Court chambers. Away from work, James enjoys football, golf, cooking and travelling.
